Introduction to the Jenssen-Nelson Book

In 1988, David Crankshaw wrote the first edition of the Jenssen Family History book that provided the genealogy of Børre Andreas Jenssen and Andrea Thomine Olsdatter. We are greatly indebted for his foresight and contribution to preserving our family heritage. But he has also inspired me to write the family history of the Haakinson-Eide-Thormodsaeter Family of my mother and the Huseby Family History book of my paternal grandfather’s family.

It is, therefore, a great honor to update the Jenssen Family History book in collaboration with him. I am taking the lead on this project, but I am endeavoring to preserve the integrity of his work.
